4 lbs red seedless grapes, washed and stemed
8 ounces sour cream
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract, to taste
1 can pineapple, drained
In a large bowl, mix sour cream, cream cheese, white sugar and vanilla by hand until blended well.
Stir grapes into mixture, and pour in a large serving bowl.
Sprinkle with topping.
Topping recipe
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup crushed pecans
Combine brown sugar, and pecans. Sprinkle over top of grapes, cover completely.
Chill for 8 hours or overnight.
variations:
use half green and half red seedless grapes.
Use walnuts instead of pecans.
Cutting the recipe in 1/2 still makes a big bowl !!!!
